I bagged the Student of the Year award contributing to events like organizing college events, handling Class Representative duties for 4 years, taking part in CGF (Consortium of Green Fashion), volunteering in PFW (Pune Fashion Week), etc...

Woven Edge

Nest is the best example of weaving which is strong, bearing weight, going criss - cross and serves as homes for birds whereas buildings has definite forms and it too serves as a purpose of home for human beings. Woven Edge is inspired from the combination of rawness of bird's nest and structured shape of architectural buildings.

Best Design Collection

My team won the Best Design Collection Award by working on the theme I developed.

I was waiting for this moment where I get to showcase my design walking on ramp. As a Fashion Design student, we wait for four years and it's the Graduation Show where industry known people look at our collection and thus we get placed and life gets settled.

As college rules, collection is developed in a group of ten (per student per garment). Our collection won the Best Design Collection Award 2016 and it was the best feeling ever. I also won Best Student of the Year 2012-2016.

Collection is inspired from uneven weaving of bird's nest and architectural structure. They both form very strong structure and Woven Edge (collection theme) is the best way to show it's collaboration.
